Julia Nelson (she/her/hers) joins the OFRF workforce because the Summer time 2024 Coverage & Advocacy Intern. Julia is a present MS pupil on the Tufts Friedman College of Vitamin Science & Coverage, finding out Agriculture, Meals, and the Surroundings. She received her BA from Colby Faculty, the place she studied Environmental Coverage and Anthropology. She beforehand labored to develop native meals techniques in Maine, first because the Operations Supervisor for a foodtech startup that gives an internet platform for wholesale consumers to buy immediately from native farmers. Outdoors of labor and faculty, she enjoys spending weekends operating, snowboarding, and browsing round New England, in addition to cooking scrumptious dinners with family and friends.
